I've not been here for a very long time as ill health and a new granddaughter have kept me busy in one way or another for a good few months. Another piece of bad news is that one of our three cats, Leo, has had to have a leg amputated after what we think was a fall whereby he got his leg trapped in a fence on the way down. He's completely over it now and when he is at full speed you would never know he had a problem. Sam, the old man of the trio, is getting on a bit at16 years and his hips give him a fair bit of trouble from time to time. He just soldiers on though, bless him. Benji, our Bengal, also broke a bone but as it was just a toe, after a few weeks in plaster he was back to his extremely vocal self. I'll post photos when I work out how.lol. The human members of the family each seem to be having problems of their own at the moment but they are a bit on the private side so, as they say, least said, soonest mended. Afraid time has caught up with me so I'll say TTFN, as Jimmy young would have said.

I have no real idea why I decided to start this collection of, no doubt, utter trivialities and nonsensibilities (EH!). It seems that you don't need any qualifications or talent to put fingertip to keyboard, so I fit right in there!
I also have no idea how this bundle of unconnected inanities will develope as I go along; so if you're thinking of coming along for the ride, don't be surprised if it turns out to be not exactly what you had in mind,because, as the opening phrase in the initial two paragraphs clearly state - "I have no idea". The undeniable proof of this fact will become clearer, I hope , as time passes and you are drawn inexorably into the depths of my convoluted and unfathomable thought processes.
So, for the time being, my friends, I am going to leave you pondering on "what the heck is this guy on about and when do the men in white coats come to take him back to the asylum where he undoubtedly resides". Until such time as I do return, I leave you with a little ditty - Adieu, farewell, auf wiedersehen, goodbye. Sorry, got carried away. I always did like "The Sound of Music" - NOT !!
